Heavier than expected, in a good way
I have a 7-quart dutch oven that has warped two bamboo trivets. This one doesn't flex, doesn't slide, and the ribs actually keep the heat off the table. The hanging loop is a nice touch.

Does the job, finish scuffs a little
Solid and stable under a full kettle. After a month the matte finish shows a couple of shiny spots where the pot sits, which I don't mind, but worth knowing if you want it pristine.
