What we collect, why, who sees it, and the controls you have. Written to be read, not skimmed past.

What we collect
- Order information: name, email, shipping address, and what you bought — needed to fulfil and support your order.
- Payment: processed entirely by Stripe. Card numbers never touch our servers; we see only a payment reference and status.
- Device & usage data: pages viewed, referrer, approximate location, and device type, collected via cookies and similar technologies when analytics/advertising tools are enabled.
- Email address if you join the newsletter (stored until you unsubscribe).
Advertising pixels & analytics
Like most stores, we may use the Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel, and Google tags (Google Analytics 4 / Google Ads) to measure which ads and pages lead to orders. These tools set cookies and share event data (e.g. “viewed product”, “purchased”) with their platforms, which may count as “sharing” of personal information under some state privacy laws. You can opt out via your browser's cookie controls, platform ad settings, or a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, which we honor.
Who we share data with
- Stripe — payment processing.
- Suppliers & carriers — your name and shipping address, so your order can be produced, shipped, and delivered.
- Advertising & analytics platforms — event data as described above, when those tools are enabled.
We do not sell personal information for money.
Retention
Order records are kept as long as required for tax and accounting (typically 7 years). Newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe. Analytics data is retained per each platform's settings, which we keep to their shortest practical window.
Your rights
Depending on your state (including California under the CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, and to opt out of “sharing” for targeted advertising. To exercise any of these, email support@keptcart.com. We respond within the timelines your state's law requires and never discriminate for exercising your rights.
Children
This store is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
