Heavier than expected, in a good way
I have a 7-quart dutch oven that has warped two bamboo trivets. This one doesn't flex, doesn't slide, and the ribs actually keep the heat off the table. The hanging loop is a nice touch.

Solid and stable under a full kettle. After a month the matte finish shows a couple of shiny spots where the pot sits, which I don't mind, but worth knowing if you want it pristine.
One lives by the stove, one on the dinner table. Rubber feet mean no more towel-under-the-pot routine on our oak table.
Carved a brisket on it the first weekend and nothing ended up on the counter. It's heavy enough to stay put and the end grain has been kind to my knives. Oil it like they say and it stays gorgeous.
Showed up a bit dry so I gave it two coats of mineral oil before using it. Since then it's been perfect for cheese nights and Sunday chopping. Just plan on oiling it right out of the box.
I cook for a crowd most weekends and neck-loop aprons leave me sore by dinner. This one hangs off my shoulders instead, and the linen has softened up beautifully after three washes.
Thermometer, towel, phone — all in the pockets, all still there when I bend over the oven. Bought the charcoal, it hides flour smudges until laundry day.
The linen quality is genuinely nice, but I'm 5'2" and it hits below my knees. If you're petite, expect to shorten the hem or live with the coverage.
Decanted twelve years of grocery-store jars into these in one afternoon. The lids seal with a satisfying press, the labels are actually waterproof, and the ceramic looks great on an open shelf.
The jars themselves are excellent — matte, heavy, airtight. My only quibble is the label set skips a few staples (no sumac, no za'atar), so I used the blanks. A second sheet of blanks would be perfect.
Whisked a double batch of pancake batter one-handed while holding a toddler in the other arm. The bowl did not move an inch. The speckled glaze is prettier in person than in any photo.
These are wonderful to work in and handsome enough to serve from. Fair warning: the 4L bowl full of dough is a two-hands lift, and the stack needs a sturdy shelf.
These pieces haven't been reviewed yet — we'd rather show you an honest blank than an invented number.
